Saturday night was the girls first swim meet with the Pirates Swim Club. It was a Pirates-only meet to get qualifying times for any future meets so it was held right here at Karori Pool. Meggie and Katie entered the 50-meter events for all strokes and Josie did the 50-meter event for everything except butterfly. It was really fun - especially for Josie as this was her first time getting to officially race - and because they only swam in the 50's it was over quickly for us and the Sheppards joined us at our house for dinner afterwards.
