Meeting Norah

The whole family got to come this time - and Summer's mom came from Texas.

Quinn captivated the girls as usual.

And it was great to finally meet Pirum!

And to cap off January Ellie gave Chloe a bath in the DIY dog wash at Animates.

Construction Zone and Waikanae

The girls are sleeping marae style in the living room since downstairs is a complete construction zone.

All the walls are getting earthquake strengthened and re-framed.

Our lovely friends the Hoggs let us stay in their beach bach in Waikanae for a week to escape the construction.

We LOVED where we stayed in Whitianga! Right on the water and so much to do.

Some travel guides claim New Chums Beach is the prettiest in NZ. We liked it but I still prefer Cathedral Cove.

Sea Cave Adventures

The other resort cat, Issy, snuck into our room every night and slept on the end of my bed once Dugald and the Martins left. Very comforting.

Lunch with these two after everyone else left.

As the only two children left they were in charge of dishes. They did a good job!
