Nassau, Bahamas

The second day of the cruise we arrived in the port of Nassau, Bahamas about midday. We as a family decided to cancel our planned excursion to Atlantis and instead spent a quiet morning on board before heading into town to explore a little with Papa and Mama and the Martins.

The waiter asked the kids to figure out a way to get the empty Coke can out of the cup without using their hands. Ellie's first idea - which I thought was pretty good - was to pour water into the cup, but he quickly put a stop to that and told her to try to blow it out.

We're going on a cruise!!

Instead of taking the family to Disney World this year - which is always, always awesome, but change is good - Mama and Papa took the whole crew on a cruise to the Bahamas!! We had such a great time - there was lots to do for kids of all ages. Our weather was perfect, our rooms comfortable and the food was yummy and plentiful. Thank you so much Mama and Papa. These photos are from the first day.
