Nassau, Bahamas

The second day of the cruise we arrived in the port of Nassau, Bahamas about midday. We as a family decided to cancel our planned excursion to Atlantis and instead spent a quiet morning on board before heading into town to explore a little with Papa and Mama and the Martins.

Ali, Meggie and I jogging around the ship as we sailed into port. Each lap was 1/4 mile.

Ellie looking off the deck of our cabin as we sail.

Our morning by the pool.

Stacy taking a nap.

The girls drinking their daiquiris out of pineapples. Yum.

Checking out Nassau.

I love the colors of the Bahamas.

Everyone cleans up nicely for dinner.

The waiter asked the kids to figure out a way to get the empty Coke can out of the cup without using their hands. Ellie's first idea - which I thought was pretty good - was to pour water into the cup, but he quickly put a stop to that and told her to try to blow it out.

Working for next year's trip.

The cleaners made animals out of towels - girls loved it!
