Waitetoko 2015

We stopped in Palmerston North on our way to Waitetoko,

It was great to get to see both Hamish and Kate there.

First stop - Bulli Point.

We had a family adventure river rafting - thank you Mama and Papa for the great Christmas present!

Mr. Whippy

We also did a family bike ride - but it was slightly less popular. Ellie didn't know how to use her brakes so that was a challenge!

New Wine 2015

We had a great time at New Wine in Raumati this year. Our good friends the Colsons let us stay in their bach at Paraparaumu which was fantastic - we all loved being right on the beach and having our own space rather than tenting on the campus of Kapiti College where the event was held. New Wine is a church camp and people come from all over the North Island - and some even from the South -and our girls have made some lovely friends and look forward to attending each summer.

Dinner on the deck the first night with Kapiti Island in the background.

These two taking selfies.

After dinner stroll and swim.

Morning view.

It's 2015!!

We took the little girls down to the waterfront while the big girls were away with friends.

First swim of summer - still a bit chilly in Wellington Harbour!

Chloe doesn't seem to mind, she loves summer as much as the rest of us.

Heading to a Phoenix game.

Meanwhile Katie is having fun in Hahei with Emily.

Saying goodbye to Meggie - she took the bus 5 1/2 hours to Turangi to meet friends.

Back at home Josie and Ellie open "Grumpy Cat Cafe"

We finally visited "Six Barrel Soda" and tested out a few flavors.

And played some card games at home.

Meanwhile Meggie made it safely to her destination and had a great time.

On an overcast day I took the girls and Ruth Moore to Te Papa to see the Air New Zealand exhibit and the Dinosaurs.

We also joined Fleur and Izzie for some Pitch and Putt golfing.

The Colsons - minus Sophie - came for dinner.

And we headed out to the Wainuiomata pool for a day with friends.
