Beach Reunion

Mom organized a great Crown Family Reunion down on Carlouel beach for all of us to spend some time together and see extended family. The weather was perfect, the food was great, and we had lots of fun playing games, swimming and just relaxing in the sun. Thanks Mimi and Big Daddy for all your hard work to pull it all together.

One of the first games of the day was an egg toss. The kids all partnered up - with a few sporty adults filling in the gaps - and the fun began. They were surprisingly good and it took awhile before any eggs were dropped or cracked. In the end, two of the younger participants - Sloan and Ellie - won the event and Mimi gave them lollipops for a prize which made their day.

We had burgers and hot dogs for lunch followed by cookie cake to celebrate Samantha's 10th birthday which was the next day.

After lunch most of the kids played softball. Meggie scored a home run!

We finished the day over in the pool at Carouel and everyone headed home exhausted but happy!
