Advent Pageant

Our whole family participated in this year's Advent Pageant at church last Sunday. This year the production was so much better than last year - we learned several songs and had quite a few rehearsals, and in the end it all paid off because it was a great show. We invited friends and so did everyone else and the church was packed.

Meggie and Martine shared the role of Gabriel. They had a duet to sing as part of the show and did a fantastic job. Some of the pictures in this post are from the dress rehearsal and some are from the actual day - thanks James for the pictures as we performed!

Ellie was an angel and they did a special dance during Meggie and Martine's song.

Josie, Daddy and I were all the modern day family. The show started with us opening presents under the Christmas tree on Christmas morning (thus the costume of pajamas) and then re-telling the story of Christmas to the girls.

That's Lydia on the left, we had another daughter who couldn't make the dress rehearsal, Amy, but she's in a later photo.
Katie was one of the three wise men, they also sang a song together and did a fantastic job.
