We arrived in Florida on the 3rd of July to a welcoming committee of the Martins and Mimi and Big Daddy who had sadly been waiting quite awhile for us as our flight details had changed and I had forgotten to email them the new information. We were surprised when we arrived back at the airport in LA to check into our flight to hear that they had no record of us on the flight numbers I gave them. The gentleman helping us disappeared with all of our passports for awhile and finally re-emerged saying our itinerary had changed and we were now on a different flight number that left a bit later. We ended up having plenty of time for breakfast in the airport before our first flight, time I should have used to email Tampa!

Ali and Stacy drove us to Dad and Jayne's so we could say hello to them and get one of their cars to drive while we were there. We are so so blessed to have such a nice place to stay and a car to drive while we are in Florida!
The next day we all went to Carlouel to celebrate the 4th, then had dinner and fireworks at Dad and Jayne's - traditions we love! The girls always want to make sure we are in America to celebrate the 4th.
