Home again, home again, jiggety-jig

We made it back to Wellington after the usual 30+ hours of traveling and got right back into it with the girls and their activities. The girls are professional travelers these days but I'm getting older and more crotchety about the whole thing. Dugald managed to qualify in the nick of time for Gold Elite with Air New Zealand which meant I was blessed to have an upgrade on the way home, thank you honey.

The girls on their devices during our layover in Los Vegas.

While they were engrossed in their electronics I had a beer but didn't play the slots.

Ah, back to New Zealand coffee. Dugald bought me this little souvenir and made me my first cuppa as soon as we got home.

We missed this little furball.

And just like that it was Meggie's 15th birthday!! We had a quiet celebration on the day and a party later. And yes this is the best photo from the day.

Josie's winter fashion.
Katie had a school dance with Wellesley and Lottie had a bunch of the girls and boys over for a pre-dance dinner of pizza. They are a cute bunch and Katie had a great time.

Hail at home.

Katie injures her finger in her first game back at netball, thankfully Rich was there to tape her up.

Josie and a few of the other dancers from Tarrant Dance Studios went to Sprott House to dance for Ms. Jean Gilmer's 100th birthday. Ms. Gilmer was a dancer herself back in the day and I think all the residents really enjoyed the performances from Alice in Wonderland.

Josie is to the left of Ms. Gilmore, first girl in the green hat.
